The Medical History Museum showcases the development of medical science over the past four centuries. Originally opened in 1899 visitors can explore exhibitions dating back to the early 18th Century.
A permanent exhibition is the Tracing Life or “Dem Leben auf de Spur” which presents medical instruments, valuable books and microscopes with around 900 rare and valuable pathological anatomical examples.
Explore dissecting room of the pathologist, featuring Rudolf Virchows collection of samples, the laboratories of medical research and onwards.
